Outline	The impact of LNG supply reductions from Qatar and the UAE, combined with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, will not be resolved in the short term. Estimates indicate that global LNG supply capacity will fall below projected demand in 2026–27, while the point at which supply capacity exceeds demand will shift back to the 2030s. Although market adjustments will eventually restore supply-demand balance, LNG market growth will slow by several years. Following recent major LNG supply crises, LNG procurement strategies are expected to evolve from an energy security perspective.
